Description
Empire Total War is a single-player video game that combines elements of turn-based strategy and real-time tactics, developed by the Creative Assembly and released by Sega. Definitive Edition includes all DLC added since the beginning of the game.
Plot
In TW Empire Definitive Edition, players are transported to the 18th century, one of the most progressive periods in human history in terms of military advancement. The plot is rich in the stories of several continents, showing the diversity of India, political turmoil in Europe and, for the first time, the United States of America.
It is worth mentioning the Warpath campaign, where the player takes control of one of the five Native American factions and has to defend their lands by getting rid of enemies. The campaign introduces many new elements, including 2 types of agents and 18 tribal technologies.
Gameplay
The goal of the Total War Empire is to take control of the entire world. To achieve this, players must demonstrate outstanding strategic skills, but also an understanding of economics, religion and politics. Even the smallest details can make a difference and determine dominance.
Players can build armies with elite units from various regions. The Elite Units of the East add 12 new units to the Maratha and Ottoman factions, expanding the map further East. They bring a wide array of tactical options to terrorize and defeat all enemies.
The Elite Units of the West introduce 14 unique units from all the major Western sections, also offering more battlefield options to strategists. Furthermore, the Elite Units of America add 15 new units to the American, British, and French factions, all of which played a significant part in the American Revolution, forever becoming a part of the history of the United States.
